The General Law for the Protection of Personal Data (LGPD or LGPDP), Law No. 13.709 / 2018 [1], is the Brazilian legislation that regulates the activities of processing personal data and also changes articles 7 and 16 of the Marco Civil da Internet.

Informatec is in the process of adapting with the creation of new procedures and actions aimed at meeting the new legislation. The person responsible for LGPD at Informatec is Eng. José Milton Castan Junior.
